Unique Learning Environment

Our inspiring learning environment will give you a range of spaces to study and work with friends outside of lessons. Our Sixth Form floor reflects the learning and social spaces of students at university, and has a common room, formal study area, gym, roof terrace and high-spec science laboratories.

Overseas Trips

There will be plenty of opportunities for trips, visits and speakers within your subjects, as well as in the Elective Curriculum. You’ll also have the chance to travel abroad, including a cohort visit to Washington DC.

Wider Learning

Exploring future career options is a vital part of any Sixth Form. As well as hosting visitors from a broad field of careers, we will support you in arranging work experience and placements, as well as helping you to secure placements at prestigious university summer schools as part of a dedicated two weeks of ‘wider learning’ in July. This helps to ensure that you’re prepared for making informed choices at 18.

Volunteering

We offer an exciting programme of extra-curricular opportunities, including volunteering, school leadership and the chance to develop hobbies and interests. As well as this, sport, exercise and wellbeing activities are built into your timetable, helping you keep fit and healthy while you study.
